This Cookie Policy explains what Refine (“we”, “us”, or “our”) stores in your browser when you visit this website or use the Refine app, why, and how you control it. It covers cookies and the browser’s local and session storage, which work the same way for this purpose.
1. What we store, in short
- Strictly necessary storage keeps you signed in, remembers your choices in the app, and records your analytics decision. The site does not work properly without it, so it is not optional.
- Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 are set only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Until then, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Refine runs no ads and shares no browsing data with ad networks.

3. Google Analytics
If you accept, we load Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to measure which pages are visited and which buttons are clicked. It receives the page address and the name of the button — never your AWS data, your email address or your workspace name — and it runs in Google’s Consent Mode with advertising storage always denied. If you decline, or never answer, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a decline and do not ask.
4. How to change your choice
Use (also in the site footer) to accept or decline at any time. Declining after you accepted switches Google Analytics off and deletes its cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; strictly necessary storage will then be recreated the next time you sign in or choose an account.
5. Changes to this policy
When what we store changes, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects what an “Accept” covers, we ask for your choice again.
